Suzanty Sitorus

Suzanty Sitorus currently serves as the Executive Director of ViriyaENB, the first Indonesian-led climate foundation, dedicated to supporting Indonesia in achieving net-zero emissions, underpinned by an equitable and regenerative economy by mid-century. She has over 25 years of experience in the environment, biodiversity, and climate, and philanthropy sectors. Prior to her current role, Suzanty was the Indonesia Programme Director at Tara Climate Foundation, and previously led Climate Policy Initiative Indonesia, a climate finance think tank.

During her service with the Government of Indonesia at the National Council on Climate Change, she served as the lead climate finance negotiator for the UNFCCC processes. As a senior figure in the non-profit and philanthropy community in Indonesia, Suzanty sits on the Board of Indonesia Philanthropy Association and previously chaired the Executive Board of the Indonesia Biodiversity Foundation. Suzanty has a PhD from the School of International Development, University of East Anglia.
